Hello, my name is Peta. I have been part of our wonderful centre for 14 years—first as a parent when my own children attended, and now as one of the kindergarten teachers. I feel very lucky to watch children learn, grow, and discover the world around them each day. Creating a welcoming, playful, and nurturing environment is something I truly love, and I’m excited to share many special moments and learning adventures with your children.

Hi, I’m Jess. I’ve been the Assistant Operational Coordinator at CCCI since 2021. This role has renewed my passion for early childhood, particularly through their embedded supportive environments. I believe relationships are the fundamentals to meaningful learning, to both children & adults, and CCCI’s collaborative culture continues to inspire my growth.

Hello my name is Lenora, I first worked at CCCI in 2005, as an educator for one year, returning in 2011, first as an educator then team leader and now a Kindergarten teacher. It is because of the wonderful supportive team at CCCI that I was inspired to study, and gain my teaching degree.

My journey started at CCC over 19 years ago as student on placement. I then went on to become kinder teacher at the service and continue to enjoy what I do each and every day. There are not many workplaces where you can truly say that everyone genuinely cares not only for each other but the children and families that come into our care.

Hi, my name is Melissa and I am one of the kindergarten teachers working in the Gurrborra room. I’ve been working at Coburg Children’s Centre for almost 18 years, with various jobs which include working as an Educator, Office Administrator, Team Leader and for the past 3 years as a Kindergarten Teacher.

Coburg Children’s Centre is definitely my second home! The nurturing, welcoming, inclusive, engaging, supportive and fun environment is why I feel at home.

My name is Julie and I have been working at Coburg Children’s Centre as an Educator since 2008. I also teach our Languages in Early Childhood Education program where I teach children, my language, Auslan.
