Do children just play all day?

Short answer: yes! We use play-based learning to help children build lifelong skills—from fine motor and physical development, to social, cognitive and behavioural growth. Our highly experienced, caring staff create enriching, stimulating and fun environments that help every child learn, grow and flourish.

Our Rooms

The rooms are set up to provide enriching experiences to suit children’s age, physical abilities and interests. The set ups are regularly adjusted to accommodate children’s developmental changes, physical growth and different interests. They are dynamic spaces that are adequately resourced to ensure the spaces can change alongside the children’s changing needs and interests.

Each room has access to an outdoor play space that is specifically designed for their age group.

Our service is committed to maintaining staffing arrangements that frequently exceed minimum regulatory ratios across rooms, supporting high-quality interactions and responsive education and care for children.

We would like to thank the Wurundjeri Council for the generous use of the Woiwurrung Language to name the rooms.

Free kinder

At CCCI, we’re proud to support the Victorian Government’s Free Kindergarten Initiative, helping make early childhood education more affordable for families. This program is part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms and is designed to give children the best possible start as they grow, learn and get ready for school.

We offer Free Kindergarten through our multi-aged sessional kindergarten program, with children attending two kindergarten days per week during school terms.

Sessions run on either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday, with each day operating from 8:30am to 4:00pm, giving children plenty of time to learn, play and build friendships.

To further support working families, before and after care is available for an additional fee. We also offer holiday care, which can be booked at our normal daily rate. If you’re eligible, the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) can be applied to any services that incur a fee.

Alternatively, families can access their Free Kindergarten funding through our integrated long day care service . Here, Free Kinder funding is applied as a fee offset, reducing costs, in addition to the application of Child Care Subsidy (CCS) towards fees.
